The seventh annual LymeAid featured entertainer Jeff Bridges on top of San Francisco’s new Salesforce Tower.
Bay Area Lyme Foundation hosted the fundraiser and benefit for medical research and breakthroughs in Lyme and tick-borne diseases. Hosted in the spectacular Ohana Room atop the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco, the evening drew more than 300 donors, philanthropists, scientists and stars in support of the foundation’s mission to make Lyme disease easy to diagnose and simple to cure.
Geetha Parasarathy, Ph.D., and Andrea Granados, Ph.D., each received the prestigious annual Emerging Leader Award with grants of $100,000 for further research into Lyme. Music and entertainment from Hollywood actor and musician Jeff Bridges capped off the beautiful evening.
